BOTTINEAU, N.D. (AP) — Officials say north central North Dakota's Bottineau County is being hit hard by Souris River flooding this spring.
The Minot Daily News reports that the number of roads that are under water or damaged has reached 100, and county officials have ordered 70 more "road closed" signs.
County Road Supervisor Rob Peck says the current supply is exhausted, and people have resorted to using plywood and sawhorses.
Peck says bridges also are damaged. He says there is only one bridge across the Souris that remains passable.
