Power Pole Falls on Vacant GF Business, Causes Small Outage

A few dozen Grand Forks residents were without power for a time Thursday when this power pole fell.
33 Grand Forks customers were without service for part of Thursday after a power pole fell onto a vacant Grand Forks business.
The building at 1913 Gateway Drive looked to have no damage from the downed pole. Xcel Energy says it happened around 10:20 a.m. and power was restored to all but five customers by 12:40 p.m.
Xcel says they're continuing repairs so service can be restored to the customers without power.
