BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota lawmakers have given final approval to a $489 million package of tax reductions, and Gov. Jack Dalrymple says he'll sign the bill.

It includes cuts in personal and corporate income taxes, and almost $342 million in property tax subsidies for school districts.

Both the House and Senate overwhelmingly approved the bill Friday.

But Democrats weren't happy about how the property and income tax cuts were lumped together. They opposed the inclusion of corporate tax reductions.

Fargo Rep. Steve Zaiser (ZY'-zur) says most of the corporate tax cut will go to out-of-state companies. Mayville Rep. Lee Kaldor says the tax cuts were lumped together for political reasons.

Fargo Rep. Jim Kasper says the tax cuts will help North Dakota's reputation as a business-friendly state.
