2 Sentenced in Jamestown Grocery Store Thefts

Two of the three women accused of stealing about $25,000 in merchandise from a Jamestown grocery store where they worked have been sentenced.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — Two of the three women accused of stealing about $25,000 in merchandise from a Jamestown grocery store where they worked have been sentenced.

The Jamestown Sun reports that 30-year-old Almee Banuelos was sentenced to serve one month in jail and five years on supervised probation after pleading guilty to criminal conspiracy. She also must complete 16 hours of community service.

Forty-four-year-old Tina Reister pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy and theft of property and was sentenced to serve 40 days in jail and four years on probation.

Sixty-year-old Beverly Byers is expected to plead guilty and be sentenced on May 3.

A judge also has ordered restitution for County Market.
