(AP) — Officials at Grand Forks Air Force Base expect the first Global Hawk unmanned aircraft to arrive late next month.
Col. Don Shaffer tells KFGO radio that it's a top priority for the Air Force.
The base will eventually have eight Global Hawks.
The Global Hawk mission will mean the addition of 450 personnel at the base.
