ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police say a 13-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after another teenager allegedly cut him with a small pocketknife at their school.
Police spokesman Andy Skoogman tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press the boy had a small cut on his chin.
The 13-year-old and a 14-year-old boy had fought Thursday morning in a bathroom at St. Paul City School, a charter school.
The younger boy was taken to Regions Hospital and did not need stitches.
Officers arrested the 14-year-old.
The school's executive director, Nancy Dana, says the school has a zero tolerance policy for weapons. She says she couldn't discuss what will happen to the boy who allegedly had the knife.
