One of the most talked-about special elections in Grand Forks is less than a week away.

There's only five days left until you decide whether or not you want a one percent sales tax to pay for a new library.

All 26 precincts in Grand Forks will be open. Wherever you vote during regular elections, that is where you will go for this election.

The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Absentee ballots are also available. A city representative says about 300 ballots have already been received. The deadline for mailing them in is over, but you can go to the city offices and fill one out there, where officials have been gearing up for your votes.
