Today is the day. Voters will head to the polls for a special Grand Forks election to determine if a temporary one percent sales tax will be used for construction of a new library.
The sales tax would collect $20.8 million over three years or until that amount is reached.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. 26 voting precincts will be open. Voters should go to their normal polling place, except for the Grand Forks Senior Center, which will not be a polling place.
