Senator John Hoeven Speaks At UND Commencement

The UND School of Law spring commencement ceremony had 79 students walking across the stage.

The commencement address was by US Senator John Hoeven.

As North Dakota's governor, Sen. Hoeven supported research at UND in a number of high profile areas including the Centers of Excellence for Economic Development program, which he initiated.

Hoeven along with UND President Robert Kelley had a little advice for the graduates.

"To repeat something that Senator Hoeven was sharing with you, we are going to expect a great deal from all of you now as you move on into our society as leaders in the law." UND president Robert Kelley said.

The UND school of law is the only law school in North Dakota.
