Local Fraternity Makes Home Accessible
Thanks to a UND fraternity, a Grand Forks man can now get out of his house in a wheelchair.
The Pi Kappa Phi fraternity lended a helping hand as part of its philanthropy, "Push America".
Each semester, fraternity brothers team up with "Options" in East Grand Forks to find someone in need.
They raise money to build ramps to give better accessibility to people.
"It gives me a good feeling inside and it gives and added element of security I know I can get out of the house in case of a fire and these people here make it possible," said Mike Schue receiving the ramp.
