At about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Grand Forks police responded to a report of a burglary at the Eagles Arena at 1951 S. 25th St.

Officers determined that someone had gained entry to the arena sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the suspect(s) damaged locks on doors to enter several rooms.

Lunseth Plumbing & Heating was working inside the building and reports that over $900 worth of power tools were stolen. An inventory of the arena is also being completed to determine if anything else is missing.

"They went through a series of offices looking for various items and we determined that Lunseth was doing some contractual work there and they had some tools that were taken," Lt. Grant Schiller said.

If you have any information or noticed suspicious activity near the arena at the above times, call police at 787-8000.
