Chilly temperatures didn't stop holiday shoppers from waiting to get the best deals early this morning.

Chilly temperatures didn't stop holiday shoppers from waiting to get the best deals early this morning.

Philip Jensen was the first in line at Target this morning. He had been waiting for 8 hours for the doors to open.

Philip Jensen: "I came here at 9:00 yesterday, last night, 9:00pm."

While the reason for standing out in the cold is different for many shoppers...

They say the wait is part of the excitement of Black Friday shopping.

It's kinda fun, I've never done this before

Bargain hunters say this year's deals are the best they have seen in years.

Philip Jensen: "It's going to be 250 bucks about, which is pretty good, its nice to save a little money right before the holiday season."

Some shoppers say they plan to get everything crossed off their list today
