A Grand Forks girl with Asperger's Syndrome is holding a concert to say "thank you" for support she's received from the community.
Megan Woods was nominated by former North Dakota governor John Hoeven to sing in seven different countries abroad with the Northern Ambassadors of Music tour.
Woods raised $11,000 so she and her mother could go on the tour.
"It was important for us to make sure that we gave a wonderful thank you back to the Grand Forks community and what a better way for Megan to do that than to sing it to everyone and use her talent," said Megan's mother Naomi Bender.
The concert is on Sunday May 15th at 2 p.m. at the Empire Arts Center. Admission is free, and the concert will be followed by a free ice cream sundae buffet.
