Majerus, Mayville State's softball coach, resigned that position Wednesday.
MAYVILLE, N.D. (AP) — Mayville State announced Wednesday that Melissa Majerus had resigned after three years as softball coach.
The Comets had a combined record of 40-94 under her tenure, including an 11-29 season record and a 7-13 mark in the Dakota Athletic Conference this season.
The university said the search for a replacement would begin immediately.
