GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A Drayton man has been charged with
hunting on posted land after shooting a pheasant from a road in
Grand Forks County.
In court documents, 44-year-old Stephen Kissee admits to
shooting the fowl, but says he thought it was on land open to
public hunting. The land was posted.
Kissee is due in Grand Forks County court on Dec. 16.
Gary Rankin of the Game and Fish Department office in Larimore
says he received a complaint about the shooting on Oct. 23.
