NCTC Gets Global Hawk Model

The University of North Dakot is not the only school benefiting from cutting edge technology.

Northland Community and Technical College has its own UAS program, and now it has its very own Global Hawk.

Northrup Grumman donated this full scale Global Hawk Model to NCTC at the UAS Summit in Grand Forks.

Students enrolled in the UAS maintenance program at NCTC will benefit from having this model to work on.

It is another instance of the partnerships with higher education the Global Hawk mission at the Grand Forks Air Force Base is creating.

NCTC President Anne Temte said this is one of the most exciting times in her career, because of the exciting educational opportunities for students.

"I want to thank all of you for being partners with us and working with us and, you ain't seen nothing yet," said Temte.>

The model will be housed at the Swenson Hangar at the Thief River Falls campus.
