The muscle car show "Devils Run" kicked off this afternoon.
Even though the poor road conditions on Highway 57 caused the car show to be moved from Spirit Lake Casino to Roosevelt Park participants will have plenty of room to show off their cars.
The park has been filling up all day with cars coming in for the muscle car show this afternoon and the Devils Run car show tomorrow and people of all ages are encouraged to come down to the park and check them out.
The entire town is trying to keep everyone entertained during the celebration by bringing in entertainment, having a city wide rummage sale and merchant sales around town.
"There is no way you're going to be able to take in everything that happens this weekend. No way. You're going to have to come back next year and do what you didn't get to do this year," says Stan Orness, the organizer of the weekends events.
Friday nights activities include a burnout contest, muffler rapping competition, and flame throwing contest starting at 6 oclock in Roosevelt park. Tomorrow starts with the parade at 9:45.
