A Moorhead man faces a charge of malicious punishment of a child after he allegedly slapped a 13-month-old.
Kenneth Butcher, 34, was tracked down by the Clay County K-9, and found hiding in a backyard. Social Services took two children who were with Butcher at the time of his arrest into protective custody.
A 3-year-old who was with Butcher was not harmed.
