UND president Robert Kelley told faculty and staff during his State of the University address today says research and enrollment will be two focuses in the next year.

Kelley says the University has a number of things in place that has the poised to break the enrollment record they fell just 15 students short of doing this year.

He says an unmanned aerial systems undergraduate program and a UAS research center will draw more people to the school and bring together departments all over campus. In addition they'll look to recruit more students this year.

Kelley says, "So now I think its our opportunity to get out into these markets and find out whether or not we can bring some of these students into North Dakota and convince them about our quality of life and our quality of education."
