GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota delegation plans a meeting Wednesday in Washington to discuss the future of an Amtrak line that's threatened by flooding in the Devils Lake Basin.

The Grand Forks Herald reported that the state's congressional delegation, governor and local officials will meet with the administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration and the president and CEO of Amtrak.

Amtrak's suspension of passenger rail service through North Dakota is entering its second consecutive weekend because of flooding.

Service along the line between Grand Forks, Devils Lake and Rugby has been suspended several times since April.
