Arrest Made in Connection to 2009 Grand Forks Attempted Murder
Florida police have arrested the man suspected of stabbing a Minnkota Power employee at his home in Grand Forks in 2009.

21-year-old Joseph Gladue, Jr. was arrested in Panama City, FL, for the attempted murder of Tom Schirrick.
On September 17, 2009, Grand Forks police responded to a call about a break-in and stabbing at a home on the 2300 block of South 22nd Street.
The suspect fled by the time police arrived.
During the investigation, numerous tips named Gladue as the suspect, according to a police report.
Police say Gladue also acted out how the stabbing occurred and admitted to it during a taped undercover investigation.
He indicated that another person had been involved.
Gladue is in Florida waiting an extradition hearing.
Neither Schirrick's wife Lisa nor their three children were hurt.
