Former Sioux Dressler Signs Multi-year Contract with Saskatchewan

The CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders announced on Wednesday that former Fighting Sioux football standout Weston Dressler has signed a new, multi-year contract with the team.

The CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders announced on Wednesday that former Fighting Sioux football standout Weston Dressler has signed a new, multi-year contract with the team.

The financial terms of the contract were not released.

Dressler is in his fourth season with the Roughriders since signing as a free agent in May of 2008. The 26-year-old Bismarck native has 199 receptions for 3,258 yards and 16 touchdowns in 46 regular season games, according to Riderville.com

Since joining the CFL, Dressler has become one of the premier receivers in the league. He was named the CFL Most Outstanding Rookie in 2008 and a West Division All-star in 2009.
