Two women appeared in Roseau County District Court Friday on charges of theft, financial transaction card fraud and motor vehicle tampering after the Roseau Police Department says they broke into multiple vehicles and stole various items.

21-year-old Nicolle Lozier and a 17-year-old juvenile female were arrested Thursday. They're accused of stealing a laptop computer, GPS units, a digital camera, iPods, credit cards, cash and personal belongings from multiple vehicles in Roseau.

The two were arrested in Warroad after a search warrant was issued for a house there. They have since been released with conditions imposed by the District Court. Future court dates have been scheduled.

The Roseau Police Department was assisted in the arrests by the Warroad Police Department and the Roseau County Sheriff's Department.

The cases are being prosecuted by the Roseau County Attorney's Office.
