5 Injured, 2 Charged with DUI in Park River, ND, Crash

Five people were injured when a car and pickup collided in Park River last night.

Five people were injured when a car and pickup collided in Park River last night.

At about 8:30 Friday night, 26-year-old Brian Kulaszewicz was traveling east in a 2000 Dodge Neon on 3rd Street in Park River when he failed to yield at the intersection of Code Avenue and 3rd Street.

Kulaszewicz struck the passenger side of a 1995 Dodge Dakota Pickup driven by 18-year-old Skylar Nord of Grafton.

Nord had two passengers inside the pickup who were also injured and two juvenile females in the rear box, one of which was injured.

Kulaszewicz, Nord and three others were transported to First Care in Park River.

Kulaszewicz was later airlifted to Sanford Health in Fargo. His condition is unknown at this time.

Conditions of the others are also unknown.

Kulaszewicz and Nord have both been charged with DUI.

The accident is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
