FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A 47-year-old Fargo man is accused of starting his ex-girlfriend's garage on fire in March.

The Fargo Forum reports that bail was set at $5,000 for Ronald Curtis Wagner. He is charged with felony arson.

Authorities say Wagner told his son on the night before the March 29 fire that he blamed his ex-girlfriend for losing his job and told the son he was going to burn down her house.

Wagner was found walking on a bike path behind the woman's home after the early morning fire. Police claim he had a burn mark on his pants and a smoky odor on his clothing.

He was arrested at the time on an unrelated warrant and later released. A warrant was issued June 24 on the arson charge.
