Grand Forks' finest are giving a boost to a four year old with leukemia tonight.
Officers from the local police department are holding a benefit for Jordan Dvorak.
Dvorak was diagnosed with leukemia three months ago.
Both his parents are police officers in Grand Forks.
Jordan has been undergoing chemotherapy in both Grand Forks and Fargo.
Benefit organizers say Jordan's parents remain in good spirits, but it's not an easy thing to deal with.
"he's doing very well, they all have their moments of trials, but he's pulling through great," Benefit organizer Erin Ray said.
"it's always good to see when his spirits are up and it's always understandable when his spirits are down and he's very lackadaisical and very down and not in a good mood," Mike Iwan said. Iwan, a Grand Forks police investigator, helped organize the event as well.
Jordan recently finished the first round of the aggressive treatment for leukemia.
He will celebrate his fifth birthday tomorrow.
