It's day six of the Minnesota government shutdown and recently there have been concerns locally about state funding for the city of East Grand Forks.

But some good news has come and officials with the city are feeling at ease.

The city was supposed to receive $1.4 million in the next coming weeks. City officials were concerned they wouldn't receive that funding until after the shutdown was settled.
