Northlands Rescue Mission in the Running For a New Toyota

Toyota's 100 Cars for Good is a national competition that gives away one car a day for 100 days.

The Northlands Rescue Mission is up against four other non-profit organizations to win the car.

The mission says the car will help replace their older vehicles, and it will provide reliable transportation to help people with job searches and appointments.

"We have one of our vans that is going out from 6 o'clock to 2 o'clock everyday for people to have employment. So it will allow us to make sure that continues. We also do doctor's visits and other visits. So it really provides transportation for homeless in our area," Executive Director David Sena said.
