A PayPal account has also been set up for donations online.
A Facebook page set up by family members gives regular updates on the pair's condition.
July 9 update
"I think Justin’s stubbornness is going to be the driving force he needs to get well and to walk again. He asked his dad today if maybe he could go back to work this summer. I think his mind needs his job, but his body won’t let him work for a long time. Both of his legs, I refuse to call them stumps, are casted and heavily bandaged. It will be a while before those can be removed and he can be fitted for prosthesis."
"Dani still sleeps most of the time. She only can lay flat on her back 24 hours a day and she hates that, as she has never slept on her back. She got her hair washed today and I know that made her feel some better. It sounds like they will be moving her up a couple of floors in the next few days. It’s called a transitional wing, not ready for therapy, but a step up from the trauma ward. She will miss being in the room next to Justin; but hopefully, he will follow her up soon."
