There are more ways you can donate to help Minot flood victims. Applebees locations across the state are collecting money to help with flood relief efforts.
There are 13 restaurants across the state, four are in Minot. The goal of the fund drive is to raise at least $2,000 at each location.
Money will be going to the North Dakota Salvation Army.
The restaurant franchise is based in Minot. Some employees at the Minot restaurants were displaced by the flood but continued to work.
"So it was a way for us to give back, not only to our employees but the whole community of Minot, Bismark, Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, Fargo, all of our state communities. I think everybody has been affected by flooding that's going on," Marketing Director Annette Shilling said.
The fund drive began Wednesday and will run through July 27th. You can donate money at the location on Columbia Road or at the location on the boardwalk in East Grand Forks.
