DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a motorcycle rider from Illinois who was killed in a collision with a pickup truck in southwest North Dakota.
The Highway Patrol says 64-year-old William Jackson from Champaign, Ill., was dead at the scene on U.S. Highway 85 in western Stark County.
The patrol says Jackson was hit head-on when the driver of the pickup tried to turn off the highway. The two people from California who were in the pickup were not hurt.
