North Dakota has its third flu death.

The state Health Department says the victim was a woman over 60 in the southwestern part of the state who had an underlying medical condition.

The department has now confirmed about 3,200 influenza cases in North Dakota. State Epidemiologist Kirby Kruger says the latest death emphasizes the need for people to be prepared.

The department said earlier this week that anyone who needs a

swine flu vaccine - not just those in certain risk groups - may get

one if local vaccine supplies allow for it.
