The general public is finally able to get the H1N1 vaccine in some areas. Soon people in Towner County will be able to get theirs. The Towner County Public Health District in Cando is getting 80 seasonal flu vaccines and more than 100 H1N1 vaccines that will be available for the general public at a December 17 clinic.

The district office is also having an H1N1 clinic today, but for priority groups of people, including pregnant women, health care workers, and people with chronic health conditions.

Dana Kitsch: "Even though you think you've had it or even a confirmed case doesn't mean you're 100 percent immune, so you still need the vaccine."

Today's H1N1 clinic runs until 7 tonight.
