Professional snocross racer Tucker Hibbert is back in Thief River Falls, but clearly, it's not for the snow.
"I've been racing since I was about 8 years old so I've got a number of years. I'm 27 now so I have a few miles on my racing career." Hibbert said.
Hibbert is sponsored by Arctic Cat and has raced in the Winter X Games, winning a total of 10 gold medals.
"I've been fortunate enough to race for Arctic Cat my entire career so it's kind of a neat story to be at one company the whole time." Hibbert said.
Today it's all about celebrating the brand, Arctic Cat's 50th Anniversary. The reason Hibbert and so many others are here.
"We're celebrating in Thief River Falls because that's our home, so we have a big weekend planned." Arctic Cat Director of Marketing John Tranby said.
A weekend with a lot to see including vintage snowmobiles, race teams and ATV dirt demo tracks.
With thousands expected to attend, people like the Hibberts are excited to talk sleds.
"This is just in our blood. Arctic Cat is in our blood and an event like this we're able to bring out his prize sleds." Tucker's wife Mandi Hibbert said.
"Just racing for Arctic Cat has been a really cool thing for me. We've had some real great success as a team and Arctic Cat has been a huge part of that." Hibbert said.
The event continues through Saturday next to the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls.
