FAIRMONT, Minn. (AP) — A woman has pleaded guilty to providing the drugs that caused her friend's overdose death in Martin County.
Assistant County Attorney Mike Trushenski (truh-SHEN'-skee) says a plea agreement with 33-year-old Tamara Hill of Fairmont allows her to spend six months to a year in the county jail, then up to 25 years on probation.
Hill was charged with third-degree murder for allowing 39-year-old Thomas Anderson to take some of her Fentanyl pain patches. Anderson was found dead in his Fairmont apartment Oct. 12.
The Fairmont Sentinel says Hill entered a guilty plea in exchange for a stay of time in prison. Sentencing is Sept. 19.
