Cynthia Johnson is proud to be part of the WDAZ team. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas (MN) where she majored in Communication and Journalism and minored in Political Science. While in college, she was the news director at TommieMedia.com, leading the site to a record amount of unique visitors and an Eric Sevareid Award from the Northwest Broadcast News Association. She was also the state capitol intern for KSTP-TV in Minneapolis. Born and raised in the Windy City of Chicago, Cynthia is confident she will be able to handle the North Dakota wind. Cynthia is a huge Chicago sports fan… except the Cubs. She is always looking for great stories and encourages viewers to send story ideas!
