WDAZ: Your Home Team

Corey

Dan Corey

Ever since I can remember, covering sports has been a strong passion of mine. I was born in Sioux City, Iowa but did most of my growing up in Central Iowa. Having lived in four Iowa communities, I really have an understanding of what local sports can mean to people. I recently graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City where I covered the Mustangs(or Chiefs for all you older UND fans) in radio, newspaper and television. That eventually led to me working at KTIV, the NBC affiliate in Sioux City. It was at KTIV where I really broadened my journalism skills and got to cover the teams I grew up watching. Outside of the sports world, I enjoy golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Being a Nebraska football fan, I love the similarities between UND hockey fans and Nebraska football fans. Look forward to seeing you out and about!
