Cassie Walder
Cassie is a Brookings, S.D. native who joined WDAZ during the spring of 2001. As News Director she takes great pride in running the WDAZ newsroom. She has her Broadcast Journalism degree from South Dakota State University.Her television career includes work for South Dakota Public Television, and Sioux Falls-based KELO-TV, where she was a reporter-photographer during college. Cassie is also the station's assignment editor and co-anchors WDAZ News at 6 and 10 with Milo Smith.
As News Director she is also the station's daily Assignment Editor.
