Rob Hudson

Born and raised in Elk River, Minnesota, Rob's Emmy Award-winning career has taken him on a cross country adventure. A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Rob began his career in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (WEAU). He then went on to Madison (WMTV), Los Angeles, San Diego (KSWB), Minneapolis (KARE 11), Missoula, Montana (KECI), and now Grand Forks. In his spare time, Rob loves summer and ice fishing for walleyes or bow hunting whitetail deer. Rob enjoys all sports, but his favorite is hockey. He has served as the TV play-by-play announcer for the University of Wisconsin and St. Cloud State hockey. He also played for both the Austin Mavericks and the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL. Rob also enjoys listening to and playing (guitar and mandolin) music, including blues, rock, bluegrass and country. He lists his favorite artists as (in no particular order) The Replacements, Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, Social Distortion, Garbage, The Hold Steady, and The Rolling Stones. Rob and his wife Becca live in Grand Forks with their daughter Presley.
