Wabasha Approves Frack Sand Moratorium
he City Council voted Tuesday night to impose two moratoriums, as recommended by Wabasha's planning commission, because of concerns about increasing heavy truck traffic. Two frack sand operations already established in the city truck sand through the community's west side to a rail loading facility.
