Senate passes bill to re-open government and avoid a default

After 16 days of a government shutdown and the government close to its borrowing limit, congress has reached a bipartisan deal. Senate leaders Harvey Reid and Mitch McConnell announced Wednesday a plan that would re-open the government and avoid a default.
