Officer Hours Sign

A newly posted sign is posted on the office door of the North Dakota Secretary of State's office in the North Dakota Capitol in Bismarck, N.D. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, announcing that the office will be open to the public for fewer hours indefinitely. Secretary of State Al Jaeger said the shortened hours are needed to allow workers to catch up on processing an exploding number of new business registrations and contractor licensing requests. The office will be closed Mondays, except for deliveries, and open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Fridays, rather than the normal 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. (AP Photo/Dale Wetzel)
