Trees Down

Trees are down in Diamond Point Park Tuesday, July 3, 2012 after severe storms hit the Bemidji, Minn., area Monday, knocking down thousands of trees and causing extensive damage to utility lines, leaving thousands of customers without power in the area. The county's emergency management assistant director, Christopher Muller, says utility crews are working on more than 100 spots where power lines are down and it may take well over 24 hours to restore service.
