NJ Church Gives Thanks to Grand Forks Church for Aid, Prayers
The images of destruction left by Superstorm Sandy have rekindled memories of those here in Grand Forks affected by the 1997 flood. St. Michael's Church in Grand Forks was hit hard in '97- - suffering nearly 4 and a half million dollars in damage. The church got help from its counterpart in New Jersey - - Now St. Micheal's is repaying the favor.
