Devils Lake road construction nearing final stretch
The worst construction delays are nearly over for Lake Region drivers. The Department of Transportation is working on two main projects this summer -- resurfacing highways 20 and 57 south of town and adding a box culvert on Highway two east of town.

Heavy winds and rain tear through region overnight
A few cities in our region got some heavy rain and even hail overnight Sunday. A trained weather spotter recorded hail measuring 1.7 inches in diameter about 8 miles north of Lakota just after 10 Sunday night. Hail that same size was also recorded about 10 miles north of Hatton and 11 miles west of Buxton.
