A case of tuberculosis has been reported at Phoenix Elementary School in Grand Forks. Grand Forks Schools are alerting parents district-wide. The school district called parents with the information around 4pm this afternoon and posted a letter on the Public Schools' website.

The images of destruction left by Superstorm Sandy have rekindled memories of those here in Grand Forks affected by the 1997 flood. St. Michael's Church in Grand Forks was hit hard in '97- - suffering nearly 4 and a half million dollars in damage. The church got help from its counterpart in New Jersey - - Now St. Micheal's is repaying the favor.
