The chilly October weather wasn't enough to scare away about 120 bicycle racers this past weekend in Turtle River State Park. The Extreme North Dakota Mountain Bike race known as "End-Tombed" is a day long race for both the casual and hardcore riders.
The Ground Up Adventure organization has brought a new kind of family entertainment to the area. The event challenges families to find their way to checkpoints by riding, running and paddling along a course.
Each summer North Dakota paleontologists host a public fossil dig. The week long event offers people the opportunity to get their hands dirty discovering creatures that lived here 80 million years ago.
