The man convicted of killing two children on the Spirit Lake reservation, Valentino Bagola, will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced Monday in Fargo. After a 13-day trial the 20-year-old was convicted for the 2011 murders.

A veteran's group in Devils Lake aimed to collect a few clothing items to bring to homeless vets, but their donation drive exceeded their wildest expectations.
