There were no tournament jitters with the Perham basketball team in its first ever appearance as it used a 57-40 win over Virginia on Wednesday in the opening round of the Class 2A Minnesota State Boys Basketball Tournament.
With the exception of North Star's 63-55 win against Grafton in the Class B state championship game, no team came closer than 16 points to the undefeated Bearcats this season. That domination is reflected in the North Dakota Class B boys all-state basketball team.
