Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - After last night's overtime win over Bemidji State, and a first round sweep of the Beavers, the UND women's hockey team can begin to focus on next week's WCHA final-faceoff held in Bemidji.
School Presidents from the University of North Dakota and Lake Region State College today signed an agreement to collaborate in unmanned aerial system research. The cooperation between the schools allows Lake Region State to become a part of UND's center for UAS research.
UND got third-period goals from Andrew MacWilliam and Danny Kristo to rally for a 2-1 win over Niagara in Friday's NCAA west regional semifinal. UND goes on to face Yale in Saturday's championship game, which will be televised on ESPNU at 3:00 CT. Yale upset Minnesota 3-2 in overtime in the other semifinal.
